Petco only carried size medium and they allowed me to open the package to look at it. It looked plenty small to me. It's difficult to adjust the quick snap buckle to get a good fit. Fortunately, I have a patient guinea pig that didn't mind the fuss. The design seemed better suited for a ferret and not a guinea pig which has a wider back end. It seemed to ride up on him. But, it served the purpose. If I am confident he can't get out of it, I might even let him come outside with me.
Pros: allows guinea pigs some freedom to roam while supervised
Cons: difficult to adjust
