I use these for my guinea pigs in the main pen. At any time this is accessible to 8 full grown pigs. They lay in all the time and get in and out easily. When I was trying to catch Chai one day though I found out how easy the plastic hook would break if you went at it wrong. The guinea pigs haven't chewed through the straps but do chew out some spots in the fleece, and I fixed the hook problem when it broke by threading a keyring through the anchor loop and fastening it back up.

many people who adopted from our rescue use these hammocks for their guinea pigs. Climbing is something most guinea pigs love to do, so a snug hammock is a natural. Just make sure they don't get tangled in it. Place it where they can easily access it and get out of it.
