My rat loves jumping in and out of the hammock! I don't like the pattern I got but that was all the local store had. It works, the rat likes it. Definitely a must have for a large rat cage! Just because they make them for ferrets doesn't mean a rat can't love it!

I had this for about a month and it is already broke...one of the attach pieces tore in half! The others all look fine but I don't see any way my rat could have gotten at this particular one and chewed through it. I think it was just poorly made.

Pros: Rat likes it, uses it

Cons: don't like the pattern

These hammocks are awesome for cats and kittens being shown for adoption in wire cat condos. They create a lot more space and fun and the kitties really will use them! The best is when you have a three-kitten snoozing pile-up.

Pros: Works wonders for cats and kittens in shelters

Cons: Metal clippies get rusty eventually

Ferrets love hammocks. My little kittena actually used to get in the hammock with my ferrets and they would all snuggle up together.
