This is the first house I bought when I brought my Hammy home! It is a decent size for my regular hamster, fits a wheel, a food dish, maybe even a litter box, and has portals on both ends to either add on to, or they can be closed up with a cap to keep your ham from escaping! It's affordable and I'd recommend it for first time Hammy owners. I love habitrail products, and am upgrading to the Habitrail Ovo line, to spoil my little buddy. I have had no issues with this really, other than my hammy gnawing on the bars at times (which is annoying and makes me worry about his teeth!), and everyone but me seems to find it difficult to figure out how to work the door latch.
All in all, a nice starter home with lots of add-on potential!

Habitrail cages are so fun for hamsters, and I think they've done a lot to improve on the design. I like how there are "bars" that the hamsters can climb on and less chance for odors to accumulate in the cage itself.

Pros: Colorful and fun

Cons: Hard to clean
