Don't care for wood housing

I don't put anything made out of porous materials in my cages, with the exception of bedding. Guinea pigs love to hide and this enclosure cannot let any light in and you cannot see your pet in it. It cannot be disinfected so I would never buy it. I Prefer the plastic pigloos that are translucent, made of washable plastic and have ventilation holes in it.
Pros: makes a good hiding place
Cons: porous wood absorbs urine

I don't like this as much as other 'hideaways' because you can't see what the rabbit is doing. I always foster sick bunnies so I need to see them at all times.
Pros: nice material and durable
