Worth the cost!

posted 6 years ago

Leith Petwerks is a smaller company with a wonderful product. Their cages are well built with lots of smaller details such as optional chew guards, carpeted ramps, and textured, easy to clean floors with optional carpeting. While the price of these cages may put some people off, thrust me, their longevity makes up for the cost! As someone who's tried every conceivable cage on the market (yes, I'm serious) I would highly recommend these cages to anyone who wants their buns to have the best.

Pros: Replacement parts easily available, sturdy construction, easy to clean

Cons: None!

As close to perfect as a bunny cage can get!

posted 6 years ago

I am so glad I invested in a Leith Petwerks bunny abode condo. My two minilops were free roaming until I moved to an apartment alone and got a new, more demanding job. I had to start using a cage while I was away, and I thought for sure my bunnies would hate being cooped up all day. Well, it turns out that they absolutely love their cage. It is their safe haven. Mine is 42" wide and three levels high. All floors have a plasticy flooring over wood, that is very easy to clean. The upper floors have a carpeted insert that is easily removable for cleaning out the cage. My bunnies had never used anything with a ramp, but they figured it out instantly! The only problem I've had is that one bunny chews on the inner wood lip of the cage a lot. She has stopped doing this since I've had it for over a year, but it made me nervous that she would compromise the structural integrity of the cage. Despite this, I'm so happy with the cage and so are my buns! If you need to cage a bunny for part of the day, this is absolutely the best cage you could get!

Pros: large, durable, attractive, easy to clean, spacious

Cons: use of wood inside can be attractive to chewers
