Great treat in small quantities for parrots and bunnies

posted 4 years ago

Most of my parrots love these for treats and my rabbits ...well, they come running when I rattle the bag I keep them in and call their names.

For the rabbits in particular, I keep them to a minimum as the natural sugars will throw off their digestive tract. But I am working with a very shy Netherland Dwarf and these papaya bits with no extra sugar added are perfect for getting him to come when I call and bringing him out of his shell a bit.

Thumper will do numerous tricks for them.

The birds of course can not be left out, or they start yelling "want some" or "come here" or like.

And these are much cheaper ordering them from here than from the small packs in local pet stores.

Pros: Animals love them, natural, natural vitamins,

Cons: Fruit so has natural sugars

Bunny candy

posted 5 years ago

My bunnies love this stuff, but I only give it to them in sparce quantities. Think of it as a topper to sprinkle over their food in small amounts.

Pros: good for rabbits' digestive system

Cons: too much gives them upset stomaches
