Ferrets and Rabbits!

posted 7 years ago

I feed the ferret forti-diet to my rabbits. I accidentally bought the ferret food and had no time for exchanges, so i had to make due. and boy am i glad I did! It keeps their hair shiny and smooth and brings shedding down a respectable amount! I recmommend this to anyone who needs an inexspensive professional food...and everyone esle!

Pros: Cheap and healthy

Cons: none!

Frankie liked this food best. I bought it at many different pet stores - popular item I guess.

posted 6 years ago

He was a little finicky so once I found a food he ate, I stuck with it. Would try to introduce others but he preferred this one. He didn't overeat though - was skinny his whole life.

Pros: I went through a few ferret foods until I found what Frankie liked

Cons: Probably more nutrious ones out there but he liked this one

We use this food

posted 6 years ago

At one of my jobs we have ferrets. We feed them the forti-diet food dry and mushed up with water. They seem to like it best when it is mushed up and will go for that first and leave the dry for last. Its a good quality food and I would recommend it to ferret parents.

Pros: Can be fed dry or mushed up with water

Cons: If fed with water it dries on the side of the bowl

I have 3 cats and they love this food. They eat less and walk away with a full belly. Eating less means pooping less and less litter. All around a great choice for my cats.
