Kaytee Fiesta Gourmet Food For Guinea Pigs

While my guinea pig is usually very excited to be fed this food, she tends to eat only the large food pieces, while ignoring the pellets (more important for a healthy diet). While I give some of this to her as a treat occasionally, I would never rely on it as a sole nutrition because it doesn't contain enough hay.

Pros: My guinea pig loves the large buts

Cons: My guinea pig leaves the pellets. There is not enough hay in the diet.

I buy this food mainly because it is available nearly everywhere, so it doesn't require a special trip to a pet store.

One of our guinea pigs loves it and gobbles it down. The other one seems to sort through it and pick out about half of the food leaving the rest.

Pros: Available at Wal-Mart

Cons: Guinea Pig seems to sort through some of this food
