Super Pet Run-about Balls

My hamster would always walk right into her ball and not want to come out when it was time to go back in her cage. She seemed to really enjoy the chance to be as close to free as possoble. I enjoyed giving her the freedom of the ball without having to worry about her saftey the same way I would if she were totoally free. I usually put a piece of tape over the top to make sure it didn't open when I didn't want it to.

Pros: Great way for your hammy to exercise

Cons: top opens on occation to let your hamster escape

We have one of these giant sized pet balls for our two ferrets. Why we don't have two, I don't know. My fiance thinks that it is the funniest thing to put both of our ferrets into the ball and watch them try to go different directions
(it's never for more than a couple of minutes). I don't approve of it, but it is kind of funny because they never make it more than two feet from their original starting point!
