Guinea pigs are not dogs and are not made to have leashes. Cute in thought walking down the road with your guinea pig, but in actuality, not something to be used. Never leash up a guinea pig and leave them unattended either.

I got this in the "harness" style, so there is one more loop that goes around their armpits. When I saw it in the store, I thought how nice it would be to have my bunny hop around the front yard.

Well, I wasn't prepared for the fact that my rabbit would try to BOLT around the yard--and she got tangled up in that tiny thin rope. So it was basically like she was being snared, and she became more and more panicked. Luckily my husband happened to come outside, so he helped me tackle the rabbit and get her in the house so we could get her untangled.

Buy a real harness for rabbits, and get a flat leash that won't tie itself up!
