When I used to keep pet rats, I used to buy these all the times. First they would shred all the cotton on the inside and make a bed out of it. Then they would destroy the tube. Strongly recommend it!

These are a nice item to have in a guinea pig cage. Gives them something to run through, lay in and chew on. It is absorbent, so urine will be absorbed in it, so don't keep it in the cage too long or it will become a breeding ground for bacteria. I would recommend them, if they aren't kept in there too long.

My chinchilla uses this as a chew toy, perch and tunnel.
