I put this in my hamster's cage, and my little Hannah immediately went through the tube to take out the bedding, and mix it in with her own little nest! It was cute watching :) Hannah didn't really chew on it, so I'm not too sure about taste and healthiness, but every so often she would run through it.

Aside from the fact that if the included fluff is eaten (Guinea Pigs, Rabbits, or Ferrets in particular), it could cause fatal intestinal blockage (I removed the fluff), your pet will LOVE IT! like mine did. Good entertainment and affordable, and conveniently available at most pet stores!

my rat has one of these in his cage and he loves it ... he sleeps in it ... and he also chews on it .. he loves it .. he has actually been through almost a whole one and i have only had him not even 2 months yet.
