Sounded great but rabbits would not touch them
posted 4 years ago
I got these from Busy Bunny along with other toys, but my very picky rabbits would not touch them. I have tried playing with them and tossing them, leaving them in various levels on their condo, sticking them in their favorite toys...nothing.
They are healthy and a great alternative for chewing on furniture for diverting natural instincts into acceptable behaviors, mine just don't like them.
Also a little pricey for what they are. Small branch twigs from an apple tree that is not treated with pesticides or fertilizers etc.
If I didn't live in the city I would just get my own.
Pros: Healthy, chewing distraction
Cons: My rabbits would not touch them.

Just trim your own tree
posted 4 years ago
Guinea pigs love to chew. Fruit tree branches are irresistible to small pets. These are pre packaged branches that are safe for small pets. Convenient to buy and give as a treat. If you have fruit trees and don't spray them, just save some of the pieces when you trim your fruit trees. It's free that way.
Pros: safe for small pets
Cons: paying for something you can get for free

Wonderful for all kinds of pets
posted 5 years ago
I give these to the chinchillas, and sometimes to the rats and mice. My friend gives these to her cat, and the cat just loves them. Unfortunately, they are fairly expensive. I've started clipping branches off of my own apple trees instead of buying them.
Pros: Useful for several animals, natural
Cons: expensive
