While I cannot speak for the "country club" in particular- these are great expandable sets. The hamsters love the variety of "hideouts" and activities. On the downside, the scratches and general dirt tend to build on the plastic walls which will cloud over time.
Pros: Great fun
Cons: Not scratch resistant
