I think this cage is a great starter cage and or for no more than one ferret. A little hard to clean if your ferret doesn't use its litter box.

This is a great cage as long as you are willing to put a little work into it. It is large enough that we have three rats in it right now and they have lots of room. It also has enough room to put a large wheel in it. The wire panel in the bottom of the cage should be removed and the levels should be covered with cardboard, plastic or vinyl. Wire is not good on their little feet. When the bottom is taken out, the clips that hold the top of the cage on will no longer work. You will have to figure out a new way to hold the top on.
