Tommy cages are the best quality cages that are in the market, in my opinion. Coroplast cages give the opportunity to make an even large, which is better, cage, but the 4' Tommy cage is really nice. I have one of them I have one guinea pig in. It's large enough for her to run laps and has an extra deep base. Heavy duty metal upper and two front doors and a huge door on top. +++++++

I use this style of small animals cae, and I find it to work out very well. I have never had any significant health problems, and they are fairly durable.

I do not reccomend turning them over and banging them on the ground when cleaning the bottom pan as the plastic will crack and shatter, leaving a pathway for liquid wastes to drip from the pan.

Pros: This cage doesn't create discomfort from wires on the pads of the feet.

Cons: They need to be cleaned frequently as wastes do not fall through.

My guinea pig seemed to be okay in this cage. It would have been better to have the sides a little higher so the bedding doesn't go all over the place. Also, if it would have been a little bigger.
