The bottom of this is a plastic covered cushion. the sides are not absorbent. So either put bedding in there with the pet and make sure there is alot of it because other wise the pee will come out the corners. You are suppose to put a carrier cage and put it in the carrier case. But honestly why buy carrier case when the pet can just be put in the carrier cage. but it provides a feel safe envoirnment for the pet. ALso it has storage on the sides for toys and water bottles.

Cons: have to buy the cage to go inside with it

Definitely not a good carrier for chinchillas. This was the first carrier I bought for the chinchillas before I knew any better. During vet visits, they ate through this thing like it was candy. The plastic lining inside got ripped up, zipper broke easily. It was the hardest thing to clean esp if they urinated in it. The bottom of the carrier is not sturdy enough to hold them.

I have 3 different sizes of these carriers for all my small pets. I use the larger carrier for my cockatiel. I also use them for my lizards and tortoises. They make great traveling carriers for emergencies and veterinarian visits.

Pros: durable, udsed for many small pets, opens at both ends

I thought it would be fun to get my daughter a carrier for all the different fuzzy fur friends she has and it has become quite fun to see who is lucky one in her carrier!

Cons: Trying to explain that animals can't travel with us all the time

My bunny grew out of this very quickly. It was non absorbent, so if he peed it just slid around. A hard cat carrier with a blanket inside is a much better option.
