Rat Manor Habitat

As a whole, the Rat Manor, cage at Petco is a pretty good pick for a couple of rats. It is easy to pop the bottom off for cleanup and it has several levels for rats to climb around in, and rats do love to climb. The only downfall to the cage is the built in wheel. You can't remove it and a lot of rats aren't into wheels so it just takes up space. For those ratties that do enjoy their wheels, look forward to hearing that thing squeak. It's a metal wheel and can be quite loud sometimes. Also, check the door closures. Sometimes in those prepackaged cages the doors are lose. Make sure everything goes together as it should before you take it home. It would have been nice if they had added another door to the top front of the cage too to make for easier access for rats hiding up-top, but right now there is one on the bottom front of the cage and one on the very top. So I beleive that all-in-all, this is a decent cage for a pair of rats. I have one and my girl ratties love it just love it!
