These aren't that great for cricket use. The crickets soil the pillows making them fester with bacteria quickly. They fluff up really full at first, but quickly stop absorbing as much, and eventually they stop absorbing much at all.
Overall, they are dirty, unnecessary, and overpriced. I use the water crystals that I make myself. They are typically available through bulk feeder insect suppliers or you can get them from the hobby stores (the ones they sell for plants).
Cons: Dry out fast

These little pillows are great. For years we had trouble with keeping feeder crickets thoroughly hydrated without them drowning in a shallow dish. These are a life-saver and help the user to save a lot of money in the long run. If you've got crickets, you definitely need to keep a supply of these on hand!
