It does what you pay for. Great for reptiles that can handle a range of temperatures, where accuracy is not critical. Gives a good general idea of the conditions.
It is hard to read accurately from an angle other than straight on, and increments are not super tight. Go digital/probe if you have a picky pet.
My snake does enjoy using it as a stepping stone to explore the top of the cage though.
Pros: Sticks well to tank
Cons: Not super accurate, hard to read from angle
