I have thermostats connected to both my corn snakes and leopard geckos Under Tank Heaters. Keeps the temperature at a perfect level once set and you don't have to worry about dangerously fluctuating temps.I've tried both of Zoo-Meds rheostats and hated them. The thermostat is definitely worth the extra cost! Just make sure you have a probe thermometer or temperature gun to set the temps properly when you first install it, and to check the temps.

Friends of mine have snakes and iquanas they told me to get this tempeture sensor for my igauna cage and tomorrow that is what I am doing they say it works great and regulates the way it should
