The only downside is that it should be mixed with the companies other vitamin supplement Herptivite. By itself, it doesnt contain all the necessary vitamins in a reptiles diet, but it does help.

Great with the herptivite of the same brand. It is not well balanced because it only has calcium and vitamin D however it is very very effective for the use of this supplement. However, more vitamins need to be added to the food for a healthy reptile. i use this product on my chameleon with the herptivite. The amount depends on reptile and amount of sunlight. Thus, a great product for calcium!
