Gross & Dangerous

posted 5 years ago

This stuff CAN NOT be digested. There are autopsy photos online, just google them. It is consumed and it hardens in the bellies of lizards like concrete. Very dangerous stuff.
It is also gross as it harbors bacteria when an animal poos on it. You can scoop the poo, but can you be sure you got all the liquid?

Pros: None

Cons: Dangerous!!

It's good sand!

posted 6 years ago

Over all it is pretty decent sand, and you can get it in a variety of colors ranging from normal desert colors to purple! And there are different size bags (from 5 to 25 lb.)

Pros: It evenly distributes heat

Cons: It clumps when it gets wet
