Useful, informative, easy to read

I've had iguanas for 15 years, and it was a rocky start, to be sure--I wish this book had been around when we got our first iguana (may he rest in peace.) Meanwhile, my other iguanas have thrived, despite the plethora of misinformation that (still!) is out there.

I recommend that anyone thinking of getting an iguana read this book first, to prepare you for what you are getting into. They are like no other pet, and we can use many good ig care resources, especially since good herp vets are so few & far between. (Although, if you DO have an iguana, PLEASE have a knowledgeable exotics/herp vet you can call on!)

The author, Melissa Kaplan, has had extensive experience in caring for/rehabbing iguanas, and had the invaluable Iguana Mailing List in the '90s, which helped me incredibly at the time.

What more can I say--get this book!

Pros: For both novice & experienced owners

Cons: None for what it is

I have 3 cats and they love this food. They eat less and walk away with a full belly. Eating less means pooping less and less litter. All around a great choice for my cats.
