Bearded dragons are great reptiles for the first time owner. Well worth the read. Beardeds are not too hard to take care of, but they do have special needs which a new owner would need to be made aware of. Beardies are pretty hardy reptiles, but they do need large enclosures with proper heat and light and have big appetites.

Good book for a first time owner like myself. Although I have had many pets, never a reptile until now. They are quite different than anything I have ever had before. This book helps to answer my questions and gives tips on my beardie. It has put my mind at ease on several occasions and saved me money when, without it, I would have taken him to the vet!

This book has more than just the basic information needed for setting up your habitat for your bearded dragon. Lots of good illustrations and charts so you can see how well your dragon is progressing.
