This is a good manual which covers all aspects of box turtle care. I do hope those who have or are acquiring box turtles are aware that ownership of box turtles without a permit is illegal in many states. The box turtle populations are under great pressure and this turtle is a threatened species. I feel only those who are serious enthusiasts and are breeding the animals should have them.
