My friend has a leopard gecko and bought this for him to sit on and enjoy his light or get some shade and eat a bug in privacy. It seems to enjoy the rock den and theres usually a snack awaiting him inside. I dont think geckos need a house but has dual purposes. Hope this helps, not sure if this is the same brand though.
Pros: Natural looking
Cons: Heavier than plastic etc...
