we've used this product in many ways. when we weren't using it to monitor cage temps, we put it in our refrigerator, which wasn't working too well (its coldest setting brought the temp down to a whopping 54F and we ended up getting the landlord to buy a new refrigerator), to monitor the accuracy of our thermostat and to document the temperature differences in the different rooms of our apartment.

Pros: very accurate and portable

Cons: hard to read at night

Very accurate and it's a plus that it reads the humitity levels but it keeps falling!! Might have something with the high levels of humitity my pet requires.

I like the digital readout but this particular device is expensive compared to others of the same quality.

I have 2 of these Thermo-Hygrometers and they do the job. I have a relatively good idea what the temp and humidity are for my geckos.

I would love it if they would attach a probe that could be placed inside the cage so the device could be accessed outside of the cage.

Pros: Compact size, easy to read digital display, Easy to operate

Cons: Must be inside of cage.
