These tanks are more expensive than your average glass terrariums, but I wouldn't get any other kind anymore!

No more fiddling around with lamps and hoods just so you can reach inside your tank! The front-opening doors make it simple and easy to interact with your reptile and clean the tank as needed, but the mesh top also opens if you want. The 3D rock background looks great, and you can have a very deep substrate layer for those burrowing animals, or even a watery landscape for your aquatic animals!

Looks great for forest or desert decor. Exo-terra also makes a hood that fits perfectly on top of these terrariums.

I like the front openings of this terrarium. When I feed my turtles they greet me and almost eat out of my hand. I also have two goldfish in the terrarium that are doing just fine and get along well with the turtles. The goldfish and turtles have plenty of room for swimming. I think the depth of water line could come up two inches higher to the door opening, giving even more room for swimming. I didn't care for the background that came with it. I would rather get my own background.

We have one of these, and it has lasted for a LONG TIME. Sturdy, well made. Don't have to mess with all that other stuff. You can put anything you want in this. More expensive, but hey you get something of a better quality when you pay more.

I have used this cage for smaller reptiles. I am planning on getting a Crested Gecko and I am setting up a enclosure for it in one of these aquariums.
