I cringe every time I have to buy one. But in our cold climate, my lizard loves his ceramic heat lamp. It can be placed so that the animal can chose to stay under it, or not. So you don't end up with burns that you can get off a rock.

Pros: no light, warm

Cons: cost

Great product

This heater is great, it keeps the enclosure warm at nite, without ruining the nite/day times. Just be careful with climbing critters, it gets extremely hot so it has to be blocked off or kept outside the enclosure.

Pros: Keeps critters warm without ruining photo periods

Cons: VERY hot - have to keep critters away

I have 3 cats and they love this food. They eat less and walk away with a full belly. Eating less means pooping less and less litter. All around a great choice for my cats.
