I use a Rena filter for my 100 gallon turtle tank. It works really well. I don't have to clean the tank very often and the tank stays quite clean. It's quiet, too.

Very nice product what little noise it does make is easily silenced by placing the filter inside of a cabinet. The only problem I have had was priming the filter after a power outage it took over 10 minutes. I still give it a 5 for the fact that a power outage happens rarely.

I recently got a Rena Filstar XP2 for my 55 gallon Oscar tank. It really does a great job at catching all the stuff my Whisper 60 HOB filter misses. I highly recommend this filter as it is the quietest and highest quality filter on the market for a competitive price.

I Own an XP1 and An XP4 that I would not trade for hardly anything. After the original pime sesion all is smooth and quiet. They Keep my water clean & clear with minimal maintnace.
