This is an amazing hang on tank canister but the biowheel is not so. The idea of the wheel is great (media for "good" bacteria to grow for filtration) yet the hose or coupling that attaches canister to wheel leaked on TWO different purchases of this model. I thought initially that I had just gotten a damaged item and returned to the store; then the replacement did the same thing. Skip the pro package with the biowheel and just buy the H.O.T. magnum canister on its own... save about $30 and some potentially catastrophic leakage!

Pros: Great canister!

Cons: biowheel attachment tends to leak!
