I use this as one of the many foods that I feed my turtle. The rest of the food I use is fresh fruits and veggies but to keep a box turtle healthy you need to provide more veggied and fruits than meats and proteins and it isn't good just to feed them the same thing every day. They have a very picky diet and need to be fed a variety of fresh fruits and veggies in addition to any store bought supplemental food but when i make platters(have to have color, smell and nutrient variety in every meal) and top it with this food, my tutle is in heaven and ready to eat immediately when i put it down. Only store bought food I will feed him!

Pros: smelled, looked and tasted great to the turtle

Cons: still not complete diet

I like to use the occasional store bought food when I'm in a crunch. This kind smells good and my turtle actually eats it (he's picky)

Pros: Easy to use

Cons: Not all ingredients are generally turtle food
