Great reference book. I think this is very helpful in describing the fish and their needs. How to take care of them and beautiful pictures. Very informative.

This is a large 10.5" X 14" X 1.75" hard cover book from T.F.H. Publishers. The entries are organized by scientific Order, Family & Genus. A physical description is offered, followed by it native habitat, and what is needed to keep them in captivity. The index contains both the scientific and the commons names of the fish included in the book. There are additional sections on:

Biology of the Livebearers
Origin and Habitat of the Livebearers
LiveBearers in your Aquarium
Highly developed Forms (Guppies, Mollies, Platies & Swordtails)
Observations (Natural Habitat, Caring for Livebearers, and the Breeding of Domesticated Livebearers).

This book is 336 pages with 980 color photographs. A great reference book to add to you library.
