Activated Charcoal Gel may be used as an emergency first aid for accidental poisoning resulting from insecticides, herbicides, organic chemicals, intestinal bacterial contaminants, or grain overload. Dogs & cats: 1-3 ml per lb. body weight. Sheep & goats: 1-3 ml per kg (2.2lbs) body weight. Adult cattle & horses: it is recommended to give one full tube (300ml). Repeat dosage of Activated Charcoal Gel after 1-3 hrs, or as needed.

Hopefully you will never use it

Dogs will put some bad stuff in their mouths, I keep this around just in case. This might give you more time to get to a vet during an emergency.

We used this for our basset when she overdosed on rimadyl. It made her vomit but she also needed more vet care.
