My two gerbils love to hide and sleep in this toy. The one problem I've had with it is chewing. My gerbils have chewed most of it up. However, they haven't managed to chew a the way through, and it is natural for gerbils to chew. I highly recommend this toy.

I had two siberian chipmunks in the past - a male and a female. I had a smaller house already for my female when I got the male, so I purchased this house so that they had two seperate sleeping spots. Once my chipmunks bonded they were inseperable and both enjoyed this house. Unfortunately they both didn't fit inside well - someone's butt always ended up poking out. I had no problems with this house, but I wish I had a medium sized one with my chippies so they could snuggle together more comfortably!

Rodents are naturally destructive creatures that love a good pile of sawdust or fluff. Thankfully for me, my gerbils love this little house and its flavor apparently! Though they may destruct it slowly over time, at least its natural healthy pine and affordable to replace.

My two gerbils loved their house. However, like everything else they ate it. I was hoping with all of the pleasure that the house brought them - they would not eat it. How wrong I was. It took them all of about 6 weeks to dwindle it down.
