Never know when an orphan is going to show up, had this at the shelter and it came in handy many times to help those babies that either were orphaned or needed a little extra

I've done lots of foster kittens. KMR is a life saver. It stores easily, and I find with a small hand drink mixer (a wand with a coil on the end) I can get it to mix without getting lots of air in it. As with anything it's hard to get the kittens to first switch to it rather than mother's milk. But once the settle on it, they will eat more than they should!

Pros: Easy to find, easy to store

Cons: slightly dificult to get to stay mixed
