car harnesses are an inexpensive way to keep your pet under control when riding in a car. this allows the driver to keep his eyes on the road. many times i have had to brake in traffic and the car harness kept my dog from being thrown into the dashboard or seat back. you can find car harnesses at pet stores or dog supply catalogues. My vets always comment on them , they love them! I keep them in my car and always have extras in case someone needs one.I have given several to dog owners who notice ours and ask about them. I gave one to a lady a few months ago who had just adopted a sweet beagle from our shelter here in Henderson,ky. It made me feel good to know that the dog would have a safe trip to his new home,and maybe the owner will spread the word about the harnesses. I order mine from a catalogue and they are under $7.00. Very cheap for peace of mind. The harnesses are secured by the seatbelt,through a loop.

I CAN'T STAND TO SEE ANIMALS HANGING HALF WAY OUT THE WINDOW OF A CAR FLYING DOWN THE ROAD OR A DOG OR DOGS IN THE BACK OF A PICKUP. IN THE BACK OF A PICKUP THEY SHOULD BE IN A CAGE.
