Crystal Litter Better Than Regular

this litter is much better than regular cat litter. It lasts a lot longer with our two cats and controls the smell.

Pros: Lasts longer than regular litter

Cons: Forms puddle in bottom if not changed soon enough

OK performance, HIGH cost

We tried this litter for our store cat, where odor is definitely an issue.

It does work all right for the first few days, and the poo is easy to scoop out. But after you stir it up, the urine doesn't really keep "soaking in" so pretty soon the box looks like it's full of sticky yellow rocks!

Our cat is diabetic, so maybe she pees more than a fully healthy cat, but there's no way we could afford to switch out the crystals as often as was needed. Even for a healthy cat though, I doubt the bag would last for a full month.

Pros: worked ok, but not great

Cons: VERY expensive
