Our shelter had received a grant to purchase some equipment we needed at our shelter. We had all decided a large floor scale was at the top of the list.

The dealer we worked with suggested the Jor Vet Floor Scales J825Q. The base was large enough to hold a dog as some say they can hold a large dog, but not easy. The J825Q is easy to read and operate.

We love having it at the shelter. We can weigh up the dogs now before taking them over to the clinic for spay/neuter. We really love it for neglect cases. We can get a before weight and while we have the dog waiting for the court. Then we can reweigh and so neglect for sure.

How wonderful it would be to have this scale at our shelter! There are many reasons we need to know the weight of a dog or cat - the scales we use sometimes are not convenient! (Don't know where we would place it however, it is very large!)

It's always good to be able to weigh your pet and keep track of it's health. And it's great that you can have a scale at home without always having to do to the vet!

i have a dog that is overweight so i have to eigh him weekly. also i have a dog that has chf and i use the scales to make sure he doesnot gain weight.
