I cringe whenever I see someone coming at me with one of these. You have absolutely no control over the animal being walked, and lets face it, most folks are on the lazy side about discipling their animal. I just see nothing useful about these. They can snap and break easily, they get tangle, some have buttons to push to shorten but they often get stuck and worst of all they let the dog control you instead of you controlling the dog.

Pros: They might look pretty...

Cons: ...but you have no control

Its an ok product. It gives you dog the feeling of a little more freedom while they r still on a leash. But, at the same time you have less control over your dog than you do when they are close to your side.

Pros: more freedom

Cons: less control

These can be a bit pricey, but you DO get what you pay for. I used to sell an off brand at my store, but got too many returns. I have never had a Flexi returned. They hold up well.
