When I saw the Marchioro Luna cage, I knew immediately that it was the rabbit cage I had been searching for. The cage does not have a wire floor as some cages do that can be harsh on a rabbit's feet. It has a plastic floor with small grating that allow any messes to fall into the pull-out trays below. The cage is raised off of the floor and has wheels on the 4 legs for easy movement for cleaning. The pull-out drawers underneath the plastic grating make clean-up a breeze. The nest box is a favorite for Bruiser. It gives him privacy and I fill it with shredded paper for him to dig. He loves it. The cage is spacious for a bunny of Bruiser's size (about 4.5 pounds). I even installed a shelf above the floor so he has 2 levels of comfort. The wheels really make it easy to move for vacuuming or relocating him in our living room. I love this cage!

Cons: Pricey

I have 4 of these cages - they are the perfect cage for rabbits (I know - I've tried every kind there is!). I love that you can slide out the front drawers to change the liner without having to take apart the whole thing or take the rabbit out of the cage. The deep side pan means no leaks onto the floor. For more thorough cleaning, the entire bottom pan & tray slide out also. There is a top access door and a side access door so you can easily get the bunny out. One of my bunnies loved the attached side hutch, but the others didn't use it, so we took it off. The only drawback is it is about 2 feet off the ground so when you let the bunny out to exercise, you have to catch him to put him back in - they can't go in and out at will.

This is an acceptable cage if your rabbit has lots of free roam time. It is good looking and easy to clean out. My rabbit loves the nest box.

At our rabbit rescue we had one of these cages donated, and while it looked nice, it was more work/pieces to clean and didn't come apart like the plastic-bottomed ones for ease of cleaning. The plastic grid bottom is much nicer for the rabbits than regular wire, but it still runs the risk of stubbed or scraped toes.

Pros: Easy height for feeding, multiple doors for access, wheels for easy moving

Cons: plastic grid bottom must be cleaned in addition to pans, shelf/hideaway too small for a large rabbit, harder for some rabbits to hop out on their own
