Just like the canine version, Frontline for Cats was more effective when it was first released. However, for indoor cats who have a lower chance of getting exposed to fleas, it's a good product to help protect them from any critters that might come in on other animals in the household.

My cats tend to struggle when I put topical meds on them, probably because they're cool and wet, so it's not the easiest product to apply. However, I'd much rather deal with about 30 seconds of wiggling than try to stuff a pill into the boys.

I did have one foster cat who was allergic to Frontline and lost hair when I applied it, but besides Serena, I've never had a cat have a negative effect. She was also allergic to chicken.

Frontline is still the gold standard for safe, effective flea/tick preventative, so I'll stay with it until something else appropriate for cats comes out.

We use Frontline at the shelter for both dogs and cats. It works great, kills fleas fast and gives the pet quick relief from biting. Easy to apply, use once a month and you're golden.

This is one product where you really get what you pay for. There are cheaper products on the market, but they are not as effective.

I use this product on my inside cats since my dogs go outside. I have NEVER had a flea issue.

Frontline is fantastic. It is so easy to apply it to your pet- they don't even realize that you are putting something on them. It lasts for a month before you have to reapply it and it is extremely effective. We (the animals) have NEVER had fleas.
