Adams Plus Flea And Tick Mist With Igr
(5 out of 5)
Adams Flea and Tick Mist tackles both furniture and pets effectively.
August 8, 2010 7:36 pm | By Zootoo Editor Flinn D.
Adams Flea and Tick Mist is a not-so-nasty smelling spray that effectively repels fleas, ticks and mosquitoes from dogs. It comes in a brightly colored, 16 fl oz. bottle and has a twistable spray adjuster that can deliver a fine, focused mist, or a broader one, depending on the area you wish to apply the spray to.
My problems with flea and tick mists in the past has always been that you have to either buy one for the furniture, or one for the pet, and it’s easy to get them confused which isn’t good for either your furniture or your pet. However, with Adams Flea and Tick Mist, this is not a problem. The formula has been refined to the point where it is approved for use on both pets and furniture.
Another positive feature worth noting about Adams Flea and Tick Mist is that the product is as effective on the larvae and eggs of fleas and ticks as it is on the living, breathing animals themselves. The application is simple and easy: for use on dogs and cats, first, cover the animal’s eyes with your hand and then spray their neck, back and head until damp.
If your dog is like mine, he won’t particularly like the application of the mist, and will try to squirm away so you might want to do it quickly. It’s also a good idea to distract him after you spray him down because the sensation of being sprayed tends to make animals shake vigorously and you want to give the mist a chance to adhere to their coat.
Pros: Safe for use both around your home and on your pets.
Cons: Misting application may cause your dog to be skittish or shake off the spray.
