I like that this collar has just a tone, and multiple levels to use to train your pet. To be honest, all I have ever had to use is the tone and my dog know I mean business. I have never had to actually shock my pet, which I prefer not to do. It has helped me teach my dogs quickly, their yard boundaries, not to chase chipmunks, and to keep them away from my rain gutters which they like to tear off the house. This is an effective training method and simple to use.

I didn't want to resort to this, but my pup ignores my commands when there are other dogs present. It worked until the remote went missing a couple of days ago...I wonder if she hid it?
