I have 7 of these and they work wonderful. I use them on a dailey basis. This is what I feed in outside. eventually the waether gets to them but cost effective to replace.
Pros: Holds alot of food
Cons: does deteriate over time

Galvanized is the way to go

The galvanized food bowls have been great. They hold up well by not allowing the pet to chew them. Also, when winter comes, they don't break apart fro the ice. The only drawback is they rust, but this could be from using bleach each time we wash them.
Pros: durable, won't tip
Cons: rusts after many washes
