I purchased two of these gates to fit two extra wide doorways. it's very sturdy and the gates are easy to get through. I couldn't find anything for wide openings that wasn't wall-mounted, so that was the one drawback but if you expect to keep it in use for an extended period of time I think it actually makes it sturdier. My boxer can jump over it when she really wants to but it took her a long time to figure that out. The cats can get over it easily which is good. Overall I'm very pleased with this gate because it keeps my dogs from being crated when nobody is home (the boxer doesn't jump over if we're not here). It also helped a great deal with an older dog that was no longer using the restroom outside so it's gotten a lot of use in my house.
