I love the idea of this ... that my dogs could have fresh clean water on command anytime, night or day, all by themselves, is a great idea. My dogs, however, must be dense or something because they've never learned to use the thing. Seems like it'd be the same as using a water bottle ... I dunno.

Great invention - why didn't I think of that. Great for dogs that can reach the faucet outside. Works well.

Pros: Great as long as your dog can figure it out

My husband installed one of these for our GSD and he learned to use it and hold it open if he really wanted alot of water!We had to do this because he was always cooling his feet off in his water bowl or pool.Now our border collie won't have anything to do with it-I don't know why.

Cons: Not all dogs will use it

I have one of these in my back yard, to provide my dogs an additional source of water. I prefer that they do not drink out of the pond or pool. Sometimes in the summer, they do run out of their water in their LeBistro waterer, and if it happens when I am not home, they have access to an additional water source.

Pros: Great for dogs outside
