Shelled Peanuts

The squirrels in the neighborhood love these, as well as the birds. My dog like a few now and then too. great protein. my husband and I enjoy them too

My large birds have always loved shellled peanuts. It is fascinating to watch them carefully open each of them. Sometimes, I think they just like the beak & claw workout because they do not always eat the peanuts. We used to have a plastic container dangling in their cage that was meant to house the peanuts, but it fell apart or they ate it sonow we jsut mix in the shelled nuts. They always seem to be the first item inthe food dish that gets eaten (unless there is chicken involved).

Also, FYI, if you ever go to Five Guys Burgers, they offer shelled peanuts to waiting guests. We just went today & brought some home for Jack & Pauly.

Pros: Birds seem to enjoy opening the nuts
